The Legend of Sausage Man: From Spam to Stardom
In amongst the elegant elephants and heirloom hedgehogs, you might spot a slightly more... flavourful character.
Meet Sausage Man. He’s stubby. He’s felt. He’s completely absurd. And honestly? He’s kind of a star.
It All Started With a Spam Email
One day, nestled between customer orders and fabric scraps, I received a message from a marketer promising to make me rich overnight. Their hook? The scheme would cost less than a sausage platter.
A what now?
I’d never heard of a sausage platter as a unit of currency before—and definitely not as a benchmark for financial decisions. Naturally, I shared this nonsense on Instagram.
Someone dared me (never dare a toymaker) to actually make a sausage platter.
Enter: The Sausage
What began as a silly joke turned into a felt sausage. Just one. But as he took shape, he grew a little face. Then a little personality. And before long—he wasn't just a sausage. He was Sausage Man.

Friends, Films, and Frankfurters
Sausage Man now has two trusty companions: Frank (yes, like the hotdog) and Pickle (we're not really sure what Pickle is, but he's having fun).
Occasionally, they star in tiny, ridiculous felt films—short reels that are part buddy comedy, part chaos.
They don’t follow patterns. They don’t make sense. But they make people laugh, and that’s kind of the point.

Why Sausage Man Matters
He’s silly. He’s squishy. He’s probably not what your sewing teacher had in mind.
He exists because one spam email sparked a ridiculous idea—and because someone dared me to follow it.
👉 He’s a reminder that joy matters.
👉 That inspiration can come from the weirdest places.
👉 That your sewing doesn’t always have to make sense to make you smile.
