How can I download a PDF?
Everything you need to know about downloading and printing RicRac PDF sewing patterns
1. How do I receive my digital sewing pattern?
As soon as your payment is processed, you’ll receive an email with a link to download your PDF file(s).
2. I can’t find my download — what should I do?
First, check your spam or junk folder — sometimes the email gets tucked away there. If you still can’t find it, send me a quick message and I’ll make sure you get your pattern.
3. What format are the patterns in?
All RicRac sewing patterns are delivered as PDF files. That means you can open and print them from any computer, tablet, or device using free software like Adobe Reader.
4. How do I print my PDF pattern at home?
- Always print at 100% scale or actual size (no scaling or “fit to page”).
- Patterns are designed to print on both A4 and US Letter paper.
- Most patterns come with a test square — print one pattern template page and then measure the test square after printing to make sure your printer settings are correct before printing everything.
5. Can I print my pattern at a print shop?
Yes! You can absolutely take your PDF file to a local print shop or office supply store and ask them to print it for you.
6. Do you accept returns or refunds on PDF patterns?
Because these are digital files, PDF patterns are non-refundable once purchased. But don’t worry — if you have any trouble with your file, just reach out and I’ll help you sort it.
7. Do I need special software to open my pattern?
Nope! All you need is a free PDF reader like Adobe Reader (most devices already have it installed).
8. Can I share or copy my PDF pattern?
No, sorry. Each RicRac pattern is for personal use only and protected by copyright law. Please don’t share, copy, or distribute the files.
You are welcome to sell small quantities of finished toys made from RicRac patterns — just include credit in your listing: “Made with a RicRac pattern.”
