Reynolds Freezer Paper – Iron-On Template Paper for Appliqué & Felt Craft (38cm Width)

$23.00

This is one of those quietly essential tools once you start using it.

Reynolds freezer paper makes cutting out fabric or felt shapes much more accurate — especially for appliqué and detailed felt projects. You draw your shape on the paper side, iron it onto your fabric, cut cleanly around it, then peel it away when you’re done. (then keep it to reuse).

It gives you enough hold to keep things steady while you work, without leaving residue behind.

Perfect for tiny beaks, flowers, and leaves — and it really comes into its own when some enthusiastic designer asks you to cut 20 of the same thing.

How I Use This in My Patterns

I use freezer paper whenever I need clean, accurate shapes — especially for small Chicken caddy combs, flowers and leaves. I draw directly onto the paper side, iron it onto the felt, and cut around it. It keeps everything stable, which makes a noticeable difference when you’re working with fiddly pieces.

It’s also my go-to when I want to sew first and then cut out, like Chicken Caddy Beaks, Frankie's mane and little straps and  accessories. When a pattern calls for multiple repeats of the same shape, instead of pinning and shifting fabric, you can prep once and cut quickly with consistent results.
